At least here in Norway, if a Tesla is involved in anything, the headline will make sure to mention it.

Our local (Boston area) town police blotter always mentions if a Tesla is involved in so much as a bumper-scrape, whereas no other car brand has ever been mentioned even once.

True, but still, Tesla is as popular as a car brand can be, which confirms the original sentiment.

When you describe your product as "<different product> for <some domain>" you've already failed. When was the last time that worked!

Bank transfers are not instant in Norway at least. There is a popular peer to peer app called Vipps that handles all of the complexity for you. If somebody's at your door picking up the couch you sold online you can't wait for the bank transfer to go through.

But you're right, it is a lot of work that it would be nice to be without.

Wow, that video was much better than the book in my opinion. The book spends chapters and chapters repeating the exact same thing over and over. And then the last third of the book is about divine inspiration and other things I just couldn't get into.

I always thought the book would have been better as a blog post or two, but the video format was perfect. It presented the ideas and gave advice on how to achieve them. I took a lot more from that video than I did from the book.

Takes me back, but it loads way too fast :)

It's like ANSI graphics that load instantly: it's painful to witness. Unless it's like ticker tape rolling out, it just ain't right.
