Good job! Reminds me of https://pageon.ai/, which is VC funded and shows there's interets in this space. Pageon.ai seems more polished but I think it's made by a Chinese company with some weird messaging that aim to make them appear to be a western startup, so proceed with caution if you wanna give it try

While this looks super cool and impressive but if I were to choose a tool for my next serious project, Mattercraft still gets my vote without hesitation

Could you please give an example of what company the US tried to buy but got turned down?

All of them. Currently there are severe restrictions on foreign ownership of Chinese ventures, though the restrictions vary by sector and this year some of the restrictions in some sectors have been eased up a little.

It is not just buying a Chinese company that is forbidden, but foreign companies cannot build a factory for production in China without creating a company that is majority Chinese owned that owns the factory. No possibility for trade secrets. All your tech will be learned and transferred to China.

Yahoo/Oath owned/owns a significant chunk of Alibaba.

Alibaba is traded on the NYSE.

probably because PCs had already eaten the world

Very impressive, where can I find the paper?

the same as asian it up

Is this a joke?

1. loop: x + y, loop (x + y) * z, loop (x + y) * z - w.

2. loop: (x[i,...,n] + y[i,...,n]) * z[i,...,n] - w[i,...,n]

although I don't think the loops are going to be the main overhead in this case.

tried "Why is my computer " or "Why is my car"? It's just some pattern picked up by the search engine. no thing is fast enough.

Yes, it works even with "Why is my brain..."

And maybe some things are fast enough, but nobody searches for "why is my computer fast enough" or "why is my brain too fast"

This sucks. We don't need some new "exciting" personal helper shit, what we need on hacker news is exciting object recognition algorithms, better nature language processing module, high accuracy text detection and recognition in natural scenes. Why are there so many people building crappy stupid things that no one really need?

Uh-huh. And what, pray tell, are you building that's so goddamn important?

you web dev people just won't get the big picture. that's why some black smith can learn to build a website/app in a couple of month but he can't do machine learning, numerical optimization or natural language processing or what have you. because it not the same thing. anyone could build websites, wake up!
