I mean, how else did you expect it to play a random assortment of high quality videos as a screen saver? It's good these aren't bundled, and very few people have metered internet.
The privacy policy references the privacy center for the conditions. They don't actually need to change the terms to retain and use data within the 5 year window. They can update the privacy center instead.

I remember all those things that wouldn't happen since the 90s and which definitely ended up happening starting with all that crap from Microsoft. It's not cyberpunk anymore, it's real life.
In the late 00s a few friends sent me “connect with me on Facebook” messages. I thought “this looks suspicious, I don’t want to, but it seems all my friends are communicsting here now…”. So I joined, and in 10years everything I worried could happen with FB did, and much much worse.
I've never directly reported to someone who had that few people reporting to them. Team sizes of ~5 work well but managers can have multiple teams. They don't need to be involved with most people on a day to day basis.
