clearly you never had to reengineer some crappy code whilst making the current live system operate.

Docker nowadays at least for me is essential for encapsulating st

This sounds like a solid idea and not just ageism related, why not open it up to ages of all kinds... would be good if you gave more details of what your goals/expectations are

Of course I'm open to all ages. Concrete goals are missing, but that's part of the point. I want to get a discussion started so that something concrete can come up. People who are averse to discussions are a no go.

I hope the overall larger goal comes across clearly: to stay productive and earning for as long as possible.

You are right on your point, only it seems like mentioned on the original post as you get older you start see the world differently and often more friendly for cooperation, society, politics and less bound to fashion.

if you did but congrats :)

awesome I'm in seville getting my own product of the ground http://documize.com, if you every come around it would be great to catch up , or if you make it to the WebSummit in Lisbon in November I'd love to trade notes with you, or any other startup that goes there. Awesome growth graphs and congrats on the early success

I believe whats special in the Valley that I have not seen anywhere is the sheer concentration of startups, investors and qualified people and the willingness for them to share. Sharing comes in many formats in the valley of knowledge, their own startup, contacts and advise. The last two are the hardest to find elsewhere at the scale that you see in SV, I havent found it in Asia I havent found it in Europe... this for me is the competitive advantage of being in the Valley

this is pretty much what I've done in for my startup http://documize.com but seems like Quora is bashing down now on any self promoting outgoing link, I think they are now under pressure to make more revenue from their ads

that is exactly the reason why developers dont get the naming/not naming conundrum, A2 is a better name than itemCount and a better way to reference when dealing with hundreds if not thousands of variables, the advancement would be actually the ability to autoname vars and then allow users to rewrite them in case of inaccuracy, and also still allow for coordinate mapping bringing the best of both worlds
