I started trying Weave 3 weeks back just to see if it works, and to my surprise I connected with some VC folks, talent and bunch of other industry people. The UX has definitely improved over time, so has the onboarding for new users. When I first used it, I swiped 150 times in the wrong direction and accidentally yes'd those folks. Tinder does clearly show 'rejected' etc while you are swiping. Not sure if this has happened with anyone else.

But, a very useful app, good job guys. Although I would like to set my preferences so that I can see more relevant people (or maybe thats your business model)

Edit: just read the comment from tarr11 which mentions the same issue

3 wheels and a handle (instead of steering) gives them a serious advantage.

Unrelated: Any non-Indian visiting India should definitely try a Rickshaw ride once, you'll feel scary good experience.

This is great. Lets hope this helps surfacing good ideas which dont get traction or get shotdown.

Gets stuck on "Generating game link". Site overload ?

I had the same problem on 3 different browsers. I also tried to play the game alexjeffrey posted above [1] but the timer wouldn't work. I'm guessing the game was cancelled by a reload or browser close.

> Most likely Mr. Modi doesn't care about US visa

I would slightly disagree. To maintain relations, move forward discussion, a US visa would be helpful. And US has already been changing their stance since the last few months as they were aware of the possible Modi victory. But I totally agree that its not a benchmark of character.

Sorry US visa doesn't prove anything. If at all, it simply shows someone visa officer's understanding of Modi in 2002, thats all. The election is much better and neutral judgement of someone's character. Obviously the views of 500million people are better than one person sitting in a foreign country.

So USA can gave you better character certificate then your mother and family :{

I never said that

> They have a Muslim wing

Dint know about that. Thanks for sharing

This is a very biased comment, with incomplete details. Most of this comment seems to be based on paranoia and twisted media reports.

> Which also brings the interesting fact that the NDA will not have a Leader of Opposition

That is not true. INC can form alliances to claim opposition. The sad part is, they still want Rahul Gandhi to lead it.

In case you didn't notice, the article you linked is from Faking News, India's version of The Onion.

Seems it locally applies a css. Any permanent option within twitter settings to revert ?

Nope, AFAIK, there is no settings that allows its users to use the old twitter profile..

It does.

AFAIK, for IOS, if you want your users to pay via 'web only', you cannot mention anything related to external payment within the app, you cannot have a payment flow within the app.

What you can do is, ask users to sign in and/or visit your web page from where you can convert users. You can run email campaigns etc. Or if your users already have a premium login by making payment elsewhere, that should be fine.

@datacog do you know any examples of such apps. would be really great. thanks.

Pandora (for Pandora One) is one. You can pay monthly through the app, but the (cheaper) yearly option is only available on the website. They can't mention the website option or link directly to it from either the iOS or the Android app due to each market's rules.

For the Android part, I am not sure if they have updated their rules. Mathway offers in-app custom payment flow. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bagatrix.m...

Pretty much every pay SaaS website's app. For the enterprise? Concur, SalesForce, Box, Office
