I’d be curious how old this rule is - because a lot of other goods have really dropped in price.

Food costs for a household were closer to 30% if income and now that’s dropped to 10%. Clothing and technology has taken a similar path.

My partners family plays a version of Canasta where you start dealing by picking up all the cards you think you’ll need to deal and if you picked it perfectly you get another 100 points.

It’s a great addition to the game and makes it a positive to be the dealer.

I’m very jealous of your experience.

On booking.com I booked a place with a lockbox and it didn’t have all the required keys on it.

Multiple phone calls gave me no help and I found a way to effectively break into the building and I just did that every day for the rest of my stay

I recommend actually booking a hotel instead of a rebranded Airbnb.

I've booked apartments, which are the most common type of travel/tourist accommodation in my country, through booking.com before Airbnb even existed.

If you like watching design happen you should give the Relume Design League a watch on YouTube. Top designers get 30 minutes to design a website. https://www.youtube.com/live/-78khPk3Lpk?feature=share

Disclaimer: I work at Relume

Whoa, this is awesome. I feel like I could really level up my skills by watching this.

Thanks for sharing! I’ve been looking at trying cheaper models but have been scared about quality. Definitely more tempted to try these now!

Definitely give them a go, we use fine-tuned ada a bunch for classification work for example; I personally think the smaller models are overlooked and don't get enough love - if OpenAI increased the context window of a model like babbage to 8k tokens I feel like that would be as much of a big deal as making a marginal improvement to davinci, purely because so many use cases rely on low-latency, many request models.

Very excited to see increased competition here!

I'm very interested in the UX decisions they make here. Is it just going to be ChatGPT with a Bing logo or will it be able to intelligently decide when a search engine is better? Will it give results in natural language?

If they sometimes do normal search instead at least that answers how they'll make money
