On a similar note, a full dictionary of the Assyrian language is available online through the University of Chicago.

And for a steal at just over $2000!

The PDFs appear to be free, the price is if you want it in print.

PDFs free to download on that very page.

Much of the decipherment of Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics was due to the discovery and the analysis of the Rosetta Stone. An accurate translation was made by Jean-François Champollion in 1822.

I've made the publication available here: http://cl.ly/3O2q291Y362s?_ga=1.160823550.2112655899.1426272...

I very much like to see this type of pseudo-science on HN. I read the article a few weeks ago and was pretty iffy about it, but I didn't really have a venue to converse about it. The comments that are already here, yours included, have got some cogs turning in my brain and I see some good thought and discussion to be had about the article.

Before I finished reading your reply, I was going to say "but someone just submitted a formula for libbpg!" Thank you, sir. :)

Most welcome! Glad to help out where I can.

Not to mention that it is essentially Franklin's medal anyway...

It's entirely possible that I'm being biased as an American, but I've never really felt this way. I love public transportation whenever I'm in cities like Chicago or New York City. My issue is that my state (and sometimes my commute) is bigger than most European countries. I've never felt a deep cultural barrier between public transportation and me, it's personally just incredibly inconvenient. I would very much love to see more public transportation options in America, though. But your argument is quite interesting, so thanks!

This is purely anecdotal, but one of my favorites is "Medical researcher discovers integration, gets 75 citations."

It should also be noted that (as of now) there are no immediate citations for these claims.

I personally feel like the colors shouldn't affect color blind individuals (e.g. light blue and orange). But great job overall!

Hey thanks for the feedback, I'll change the "bad" colour to orange - should be easy enough to do!

Very cool, thanks!
