I like the fact of having a precise 6-axis arm that could combine additive, subtractive manufacturing. In addition I was also wondering if it would make sense to have a fixed nozzle and the arm is moving the plate. This would increase the printing angles and allow for very flexible shapes.

Love the combination of Serverless and AWS, setup and deploy a full environment with Lambda, API gateway, Dynamo, Elasticsearch, SES with one command. All of it already on a CDN and fully scalable.

Out of curiosity, what would you use for user authentication? Build something from scratch or something else?

Amazon cognito integrantes pretty good with everything in the AWS cloud (obvious), and is not hard to use. Seems like the best choice for that stack.
