Quick shout out for Remember the Milk (http://rememberthemilk.com) which already does most of this and to which this looks quite similar.

My then-teenage brother once went through US immigration wearing a t-shirt branded with the initials of the then-popular brand, French Connection UK.

Needless to say the US immigration officials took some offense and asked him a bunch of questions. I'm not sure they realised it didn't say what they thought it did, even after we explained about French Connection.

These were obviously simpler times as I also as a teenager once went through US immigration wearing a Threadless Community Party t-shirt: https://www.threadless.com/product/383/the_communist_party

The dyslectic f*ck brand was and still is annoying. In Melbourne AU they had a 20 or 30 metre tall logo covering an entire wall of an industrial building. Very glad to see it gone.

Yahoo hosts all mail for BT Internet in the UK (the former national telecom, now one of top 3 ISPs)

Deconstruct will be an operator and this is how C# handles other operator overrides, e.g. equality, implicit/explicit type conversions, so this is in line with what developers would expect.

The EU's negotiating position is exactly as weak as it thinks it is and that is why it has to be so hard on us (Britain).

The only negotiating position weaker is Britain's.

As a Brit, I wholeheartedly agree with the entirity of your comment.

Because, like Google with Android, Microsoft enable this behaviour. They deserve to take the flak.

Don't you mean oral or aural?

Bollocks. Google Maps has just been in a continuous downward spiral on both desktop and iOS.

The naysayers at the Apple Maps launch were extremely short sighted. It was always going to improve significantly over time. Mapping and especially navigation is a data problem and Apple didn't have the data to roll out an A* star service worldwide at launch.

I think the biggest problem was it was rushed a little toward the end, most of it seemed there and then parts of it felt like they got done in the last 48 hours. But that's pure speculation.
