Not really when you feel like it. The length of an hour changed with the length of a day in the ancient kingdom of Israel. That is still in use and called the halachic hour. Maybe we are trying to cram too much stuff into the day just because we have a local oscillator on our wrists now.

I've been saying that for decades. The concept of time zones became anachronistic when instant communication went worldwide.

Mid 40s and considering a year sabbatical to focus on some skill upgrades. I can afford the time off but am very hesitant to do it for fear of having a hard time getting back into a similarly high level role even with a skill refresh in hand.

For what it's worth, I took a year-long sabbatical in my 50s and did not suffer any noticeable ill effects to my career on my return. Your mileage may vary, of course.

A year is barely noticeable, especially if you can fill the empty space with some learning projects.

If it had to also cover an average of one meal payment per person per day, it couldn't handle just Coventry.

Extra payment layers quickly start to look like banks with all the same kinds of expectations and failures popping up.

The Bitcoin network is slow to verify and has the environmental impact of a medium-sized industrialized economy just to run the thing. It's also exceptionally volatile compared to fiat currencies (though at this point pretty stable compared to other cryptocurrencies), and the fact that it's deflationary makes it difficult to justify as a solution in a still-growing worldwide economy.

Can copilot in office 365 do this? I have that at work and has chat gpt at home and find chat gpt to be way better at data analysis. I can’t see how to get copilot to do it outside of manipulating excel.
