I also use Killer Contract, slightly tweaked of course. It's simple, understandable and gives me some leverage when clients don't pay, which happens a lot more often that i would like.

When I can get the page to load (which i assume is due to the HN DDOS of love) i still get "video format or mime type not supported" on Firefox 32.

Setting up my own mail server a couple years ago i had this problem. The "best" solution seemed to be routing through a service like gmail, which defeated the purpose.

It doesn't completely defeat the purpose, because they would only get your outbound emails, not received ones.

Many airlines also wont allow shipments of lithium or things containing lithium batteries on passenger flights. Apparently they have a habit of spontaneous combustion. So shipments of iphones have to be specially packaged and sent on cargo flights.

What exactly does this app do? How does it save me money? Will it be US only or available internationally?

We're LA and SF only for the time being. We save you money by refunding most of the buyer agent's commission (usually 3% of the total price). We're able to do this because we're automating a lot of the time consuming things normal agents such as pushing you listings as they come on the market.

How do you get the listing information? I assume you wont be connected into every realtor database so where are you pulling data from?

We have real-time listing data in LA and SF at the moment as broker members of a local MLS. The only real way to get quality data for a listing product is to connect to every realtor database.

Just my opinion but, HN isn’t Reddit. That's a good thing. There are extensions/etc. that handle notifications. Perhaps in the spirit of HN wullwong should 'hack' it. Make a plugin or service to do this and show us what they created to make notifications easier.

Sounds like I've been beaten to it several times over from this discussion. :)

AFAIK in a lot of places knowingly transmitting an STD is a illegal. I guess the key part is 'knowingly.'

Knowingly, and presumably without the consent of the receiving party.

I haven't read those laws, but I can only assume that it is not illegal to have and STD and have sex with somebody if they are fully informed and accept the risk. Those laws are almost certainly more about consent than limiting the spread of disease.
