False. If you check Intel ARK, you can see, for example, the i7-2860QM has a max RAM of 32 GB (and this is a processor from 2011). Heck, the i7-8809G supports 64 GB.

We're speaking of mobile CPUs and LPDDR4, here. In other words, viable designs for laptops with good battery life that don't weigh 8 pounds.

It's a pretty intro level book, but a great one.

I'd say its suitable for maybe junior level undergraduates.

This sounds like an ad.

Was this Leesa to replace the Casper? If so, that's a tiny amount of time for it to last.

No, I donated the Casper to a friend when I moved.

I'm in the market for a new mattress, and Purple has great advertising. But as far as I've seen in reviews, it hasn't lived up to the hype. That being said... https://www.reddit.com/r/Mattress/comments/69yukn/purple_mat...

Here's an update of sorts to that. The Court has decided quite heavily in Purple's favor:

The past few years I've just been buying T&N mattresses. Simplified my life since they are cheaper and, to be honest, I've never actually noticed anything I would consider better.

I have one and love it, fwiw.

My wife and I also love our king sized purple.

Elsevier is from the Netherlands, not the USA.

Have the same on Mac OS 10.12.5 with Chrome 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)

https://danluu.com/why-ecc/ is a decent read.

JPEG2000 used Arithmetic coding. But, you'd have to re-write the standard and evaluate it to get JPEG to use Arithmetic coding (e.g. does the way JPEG coefficients are read out still make sense with Arithmetic coding)? There are also other algorithms for universal source coding that exist -- theres nothing to say that arithmetic coding is a good choice, esp. given its relatively complex compared to say Asymmetric Numeral Systems (Duda; arXiv:1311.2540 [cs.IT], though I don't remember where it was published) or (Recursive) Interleaved Entropy Coding (Klimesh and Kiely; NASA/JPL IPN Progress Report 42-146).

Arithmetic coding is just the one everyone knows since its taught in information theory 101 (e.g. Cover and Thomas).
