> My only complaints are that Linux can be tedious

After using Linux daily over 10 years now, this is exactly how I feel about Windows now. I instantly get frustrated any time I have to use Windows.

Removing the Xfinity data cap would increase my bill by 60%. It is outrageous.

Komagome is my favorite Yamanote line jingle: https://youtu.be/-GF_dku3Mgo?t=131

That's the famous folk song "Sakura, Sakura".

And, aha, here is likely why that station has that tune.

Komagome used to be called 染井村 (Somei Mura). It's supposedly the origin of that famous 染井吉野 (Somei-Yoshino) cherry tree.

Ebisu station has the beer company jingle. Its quite nice too.

Ettus Research USRPs (Universal Software Radio Peripheral) are popular in academia and defense, especially the B200 series. Their software and FPGA designs are open source, and the schematics for most devices are available online.

What is quartz used for beyond oscillators?

Reduce pure quartz, get pure silicon.

Quartz = SiO2 --> Silicon and Oxygen QED

There is too much overloading of terms these days. I saw LoRA, thought LoRa, and wondered why someone would spell GNU Radio as Gradio.

Only 2 hard problems in computer science: (1) cache invalidation (2) naming things (3) off-by-one errors :-D

I thought you had to supplement Vitamin K along with Vitamin D? Otherwise it can increase atherosclerosis.

> I just don't think it's right to have to pay.

So you don't want to watch ads and don't want to pay for premium. What do you propose Youtube should do to make money to run the platform?

I would rather see YT shut down and spark creative alternatives than continue its race to the bottom.

Google is rich. Their products have stagnated. They have no user support to reconcile mistaken flags or strikes.

It's anti user, the platform should be pro user. I'd like to see dark patterns pay their price and become deincentivized.

Why is that my problem?

Because at some point YouTube doesn’t run the platform anymore?

Only option right now is a Lenovo Y700. Not OLED, but it has a great looking 120 Hz screen, fast processor, and premium feel. However, it only comes in a Chinese version, so I ended up creating "unsecure" networks and accounts (Youtube, Reddit, etc) to use with it.

Apple tried to use the courts but failed. The California Appeal's court granted the publishers a protection order against revealing their sources: https://www.eff.org/cases/apple-v-does
