Strava is the running app

Well, you did call this project "hot garbage trash." Surely you can take a little criticism.

Seems to me like he took the criticism perfectly well and responded in a fair, respectful way.

I really wonder what the user experience would be like if only the creator of the post could see the "likes" on Instagram and Facebook. Similar to Snapchat, I think it would alleviate some of this anxiety and need for validation if we didn't see how much attention our friends get on social media.

Good idea! Sounds easy enough to test with a browser extension. :)

It's what I'm planning on doing!

Like how it's done with the comment upvotes on HN?

Exactly.

S/he probably means seeing dog pictures/videos. Or if he owns a dog, operating a dog account (god, that sounds weird typing it out).

And they have a feature called Highlights I believe which allow you to pin stories to your profile, so they're viewable forever

Well, the Pope does.

There is a bit of a difference between the Pope and Jesus Christ himself. In fact if Jesus Christ were alive I don't think we'd be in much need for a Pope (and you'd be calling him Saint Peter).

The interesting thing is that there are at least 10 buildings/floors leased by IBM just in Manhattan. The prominent ones are the "IBM Building" in midtown (that used to be owned by IBM) and still has its name on the building and the somewhat iconic 51 Astor Place which is the Watson HQ.

They are not free. This is the THE reason I use Spotify over any others.

No

That would be because Facebook actively makes it difficult for you to have multiple accounts.
