The Olympiad is a great thing for children for sure. This is not what I feel we should be wasting resources on though for AI. I question if it's even impressive.
The goalposts should focus on being able to make a coherent statement using papers on a subject with sources. At this point it can't do that for any remotely cutting edge topic. This is just a distraction.
The idea of a computer being able to solve IMO problems it has not seen before in natural language even just 3 years ago would be completely science fiction. This is astounding progress.
Based on the fact people went to jail for downloading some music or movies, this guy will face a lifetime in prison for 7 million books that he then used for commercial profit right?

That is not slander, you are being more then generous with them. BAFIN's employees were trading Wirecard for profit to skim profits, not just "weak and slow". Calling them highly corrupt is probably a fair statement and not slander

They claim they wrote the whole thing in 4 days. They did not attribute the original author in ANY way.
They clearly showed they intended to steal the authors work and sell it as if they wrote it. YC has just become such a dumpster fire if that kind behaviour is even remotely accepted or called a 'dumb mistake'
Fair point we actually did ask our AI. It gave us 6 hypotheses, a funnel analysis, and a competitor teardown. Now we’re asking humans too they tend to be better at sarcasm :-)
We’ve been impressed by the depth so far (we uses domain-specific agents), often comparable to a solid strategy consultant. Still early, though, and always learning from edge cases and critiques.
The idea is to make strategic thinking accessible to the lower layers of any organistation (which is not the case today for 99%) . This does not mean that strategy, once done should not be shared and debated between stakeholder, on the contrary.
What is important is that is done, talked about in quick cycle, and that our agentic ai offer strong qualitative guidance (but flexbilty). Strategy is not a frozen document.
