Shows you've never used Poco phone. Old ladies at my job use weird no name phones, which are 120$ tops, and amount of ads they're getting is 10x times more than what Poco has. They all have ads on their lockscreen.
Sorry to bother you, but in AirGradient DIY page you mentioned Wemos D1 Mimi clone of D1 Mini - works good with your firmware. Is it still true, or would I run into problems should I buy one for AirGradient?
As a professional laundry engineer, I second this notion. If I'd buy Miele for our 24/7 80ton/month laundry plant, - I'd expect it (with tech on site) to start breaking up on start of 3rd year. With every other brand they start by start of 2nd year. The problem with them isn't the price (5x the usual) but how they lock up every little replacement part and force you to pay for service for everything.
It's so mondbogglibg what we still use it. With every phone becoming a camera phone, it's unusual NOT to have hungreds or even thousands of 2-3MB photos on your phone. But try to copy your Camera folder on a PC, - and Win Explorer acts like it has a heart attack! And it hasn't improved in entire freaking decade!

If you work IT support in any capacity, you should accept that your job is to solve problems for people who are doing things you either can't do or don't want to do.
Their experience is outside of your wheelhouse, and you are there to make the technology transparent to their job function. If you can't do your job with a glad heart then find a different one.

I'm physically incapable of just closing open tabs. I must be spending good few weeks every year just closing tabs, if I'd add up the time spending it. Everything is so interesting, everything spikes interest in something else, which adds more tabs, it is taking me about an hour to close 40-50, and when I have less than 20 tabs open on my browser, - I feel a sense of pride and achievement.
I have to constantly limit myself, to constantly stand on my own neck to not get sweeped up by something interesting, the behavior of someone struggling with addiction comes to mind. And there's no legal Adderall in my country. It's hell.
Fairphone 4 has 5 years of updates; and it's much more ethical and better for earth to buy phone made with Fairtrade, than another Pixel. You are guaranteed there were no forced or child labour put into your phone too.
