If I could find a smart device that had reasonable hardware for tracking health, yet kept my health data private with an open protocol.

It would be nice to be able to make programic access to integrate other tools for search. For instance, I use a lot of accessibility tools.

Most people use a CLI. However, that can cause latency for execution, so a service or a REST interface would be interesting.

Quick heads up. Your website doesn't display well on mobile, cutting off the text on either side of the main page without scaling appropriately on Firefox Mobile

It's also not working well on Firefox desktop (MacOS), same issue.

What I've always been confused on, why can't we train LLMs to code without ever seeing source code?

If it understands human language enough, it should be able to understand the logic laid out in the documentation mapped to symbols to construct code.

We have this already. You can ask Cursor to go read the doc on syntax it may not have ever seen and write something that conforms. I used this recently to support a new feature in Lit which I'd never seen before and I doubt is in the training set much, if at all.

You can also describe your own app's syntax, architecture, function signatures, etc. in markdown files or just in chat and Cursor will write code that conforms to your desired syntax, which definitely doesn't exist in the training set.

This project could be one option for new languages: https://genlm.org/genlm-control/

Yes, but that's not how they're primarily trained.

I'm curious if the body breaks down dead neuron cells in the central nervous system. There needs to be space for neurogenesis. For instance, the spinal cord can only be so large, constrained by the spinal column. If there's not enough fluid between the nerves a stricture can occur.

A follow up question(s) that occurs to me are: “Do neurons die?”

What is the lifecycle of a neuron? Does it get replaced? Will a neuron, whose connections to the broader brain decayed or otherwise went away, continue to “live”?

I’ll go ask ChatGPT, but spare this rigorous community the unreliable answers to my passive interest.

So without sharing what ChatGPT said, I will say that assuming it is correct it makes a lot of sense on this topic alone why individuals engaged in lifelong learning live longer and are less prone to Alzheimers.

Yes it does—a process called apoptosis that is a “clean” way for a cell to die.

If a project has a user interface, then there needs to be screenshots.

From an accessibility standpoint, yes. To be able to pattern match where you are in I.D.E without using an accessibility api

In few days my dad will pass away. What will I look back and remember? Obviously, I do not know. However I'm grateful for this blog post.

I really appreciate dedicated import-export functionality. Looks like it's only for bookmarks, but I can imagine this could be for settings as well.

I appreciate the optional feature opening up article in archive.org. Normally, I don't bother viewing articles that are paywalled.
