"War is a racket" by 2 time CMOH recipient Maj. Gen. Smedley D. Butler (USMC) details how corporate interests profit from warfare.

When I went through infantry training at Ft Benning I learned that the term "infantry" referred to a nation's ability to field soldiers, which is dependent upon the birth rate.

More infants = more soldiers.

Thus, by extrapolation, soldiers, especially infantrymen, are considered to be expendable.

Sadly, bureaucracy has allowed the care given to our veterans to fall short of expectations, but for many of those with military experience such treatment is par for the course.

Not necessarily. There are other, more secure, free, operating systems.

With AdBlock+ and HTTPSB you still get the network traffic from unwanted sites.

AdSuck, from the good folks at Conformal, blocks unwanted connections and thus decreases unwanted network traffic.

The FCC doesn't even agree with ISPs on the definition of what, exactly, constitutes "Broadband" connectivity.

Meanwhile the monopoly in my area continues to receive my payments, no matter what they do.

The NSA, etc, never forgets...

It's also commonly known that Israel is one of the more active espionage opponents of the USA.

Kill one man, and you're put in prison.

Kill a million and you're the Emperor.

The spammer appears to be a religious hypocrite, so why not spam the spammer with religious hypocrisy right from their own playbook?

I would begin with Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

Not one cup of coffee in over 50 years...

When someone offers all the beer I drink for one low monthly price, I'll be signing up.

I'm not sure this is possible in a retail setting. There are rules around incentivizing the purchase of alcohol. Which is why you don't see promotions like buy one get one free... with the exception of happy hour and bottomless brunch sort of deals. Which have a whole different set of rules and exceptions.

I'm sure there are several services out there that send you a monthly amount of beers, preferably different kinds and whatnot. If not, that needs to be a thing, :D.
