Wasn't the model 3 supposed to be $30k? Why would they only make another vehicle only 5k less than the other one?

The Model 3 is $36k in China, $38k in the USA. They've missed the mark a bit, so a $25k vehicle might be welcome, especially in developing economies.

Well, adjusting for the inflation we’ve seen over the past few years, the price is actually not very far from 30k in pre-pandemic times.

They've already been beaten to the punch by BYD and their multiple cars under $20k. They even have a small hatchback for less than $10k!

Sure, but Tesla could always compete against BYD here if they wanted to. There might not be much profit in it, however, and Tesla has a bit better reputation at the high end whereas BYD might still be struggling to sell its higher priced vehicles (for now).

> They've missed the mark a bit

So, $25k car would actually be $30+k

I have. This was before I realized it was in their cardmember agreement. The woman grabbed my cart and held onto it, preventing me from leaving with my belongings until I conjured a receipt.

As if the quality was ever high? Nah, man.

Funny because I'm using Spotify paid and I'm getting closer and closer to cancelling that with all the bugs and advertising. Using a web player the music just mites itself for 10 seconds at a time, skips tracks on its own. Pauses. The mobile app hits you with full screen ads and big banner ads at the top that you can't disable. It's the most annoying service I use for streaming.

what ads are you getting on spotify mobile? occasionally i’ll get a full page banner for a new track or feature but that’s about it

I've stopped listening to specific podcasts that, even with premium, play ads [1]. I knew instantly that those were not inserted by the podcasters themselves because, as always, the ads played in my local language instead of the language of the show.

>To get offended is to have a strong aversion to something.

No it is not. The actual definition:

>cause to feel upset, annoyed or resentful

Low quality article.

This sucks. More false positives to pick up when driving around town.

Really... I just had the worst experience just trying to limit my sharing since my employer signed me up to a retirement account with them. No automatic prompt, had to be forwarded around and finally to a human that had to verify several things and information for me just to limit my sharing. The first call I got stuck with the phone robot and it wouldn't accept any input. The second call was 18 minutes to just get that done.

I have updated mine from F-Droid and they have removed features that I use. I do not trust the updates and won't update to the newer versions.

I have O*. How do I disable it?

This is ridiculous, I have met several people living full time in them and not any of them do this and spend time in hotels. If anything at all they have a home base and will do domestic things at home between trips, but they all use laundromats and public showers, etc in between.
