Does it have a standard SATA connector, or does it have the Apple-only-modified SATA connector as found in the rMBP?

There are two regular SATA ports on the logic board.

Well, two regular ports but the second one is at an odd angle. An adapter[1] is required to fill the second spot if you buy your Mini with only one drive.
