Food waste app Too Good To Go saves leftovers from San Francisco restaurants (sfgate.com)

Too Good to Go is quite hit or miss here in Berlin, Germany. Sometimes you get a good haul of varied stuff and sometimes it's a metric ton of buns and you end up eating bread for days and throw half of them out anyway. Also, from restaurants the service is sometimes subpar as they see Too Good to Go customers as bottom of the barrel bargain seekers.

There's also intentionally no way to text-review places in the app, they only have nebulous "90% of our customers rated this place 3 stars or above" badges.

Here in London there are already similar projects on-going such as Olio or Plan Zheroes were the latter tries to connect businesses with charities and let businesses donate.

Karma is a similar service in Sweden.
