I sit most of the days but I also take about 12-20k steps/day walking. So basically whenever I don't sit around in front of a computer I move.

Is that really so bad? I mean you have to rest sometimes.

How much of those steps are real, physical exercise? This is the biggest problem in American culture. No one actually exerts themselves physically. Take a look at the legs of a Dutch grandmother. Rippling with muscle because they bike every day, everywhere.

At least 10k, walking my dog. But I also run about 2-3 times a week.

I am not american.

I don't think casual movement or low pace walking is enough. I've been less active for a while and can feel a difference after I run.

I wonder the same
